The Dark Crystal - The Director's Cut (1982)

This re-created version by Christopher Orgeron of Jim Henson's original version of the cult favourite The Dark Crystal will probably only be of interest to die hard fans. The audio is particularly scratchy and difficult to discern in lots of sections and the additional footage is in grainy black and white except for the deleted scene funeral scene which has been put back in the film. Having said that, it is amazing to glimspe into the original cut of the film and see how the film morphed and changed. There isn't that much different, except for some lines and the re-addition of the funeral scene and the voice acting is slightly different. Overall a really interesting watch, for uber fans of everything Dark Crystal and Jim Henson. You can download it free here or watch it on youtube.
