#155 - Unbreakable (2000) Review
Unbreakable (2000), M. Night Shyamalan
4/5
One of Shyamalan's better films, with great cast, with strong duo Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Bruce Willis is great as a distant and cold father in a marriage that's broken down. A modern realistic take on the superhero genre, it plays as a great psychological thriller. The cinematography is good and the visual style includes excellent use of colour and Checkov's guns. Overall a really interesting thriller with good performances, and interesting style.
