Pleasantville (1998)

A great concept and excellent cinematography, this film is really interesting about the idea and changing values of the American dream and the nuclear family. Performances are good and there are a lot of funny moments, innuendo and metaphor. However it is the beautiful cinematography and use of black and white and colour that make this film so great. Also it really delves into issues about women and family, which is really vivid and interesting.
