This entire film is film within a film within a film and has a really strange, yet intriguing vibe to it. Mostly it feels like a video game, and the plot is fantastical and confusing at times, perhaps intentionally so. Performances are good and it doesn't sink to garishness, yet hovers around melodrama, it is also hard hitting and sexy action movie. It doesn't seem out of place as an action movie or as a video game adaptation. The art design and affects are great even if the plot has holes and is overly symbolic at times, it does feature some strong performances from a great group of women.
