A quite grating and disappointing indie style film from the writer/ director of the hit HBO series Girls. It has many of the same actors who play very similar characters. It is dull at times and depicts the young 20 somethings, as self-indulgent, lazy and petty. Overall there are some good moments around family dynamics, but mostly this film is a repetitive disappointment and lacks the warmth and wit of Girls.
